The family of Betsy Garza/Carlos
All of Betsy’s children may have been handicapped because they had no father figure in the household — or maybe not. By all accounts, Betsy seemed to be a strong woman. And in the era of this family, most every child respected and obeyed their mothers, even after they are grown. Some of her children did quite well and some of them had troubled lives. She claimed that nine children were born to her, but we can only find records for these shown.
